Hi, my name is Corey and I am the owner of Pie Town Rattery. I have always loved animals, but as a child never had any furry animals of my own. When I moved out on my own in 2018, I adopted my first dog followed quickly by my second. Since then, I’ve added another dog and a cat.

Over the past few years, I have kept several small animals such as mice, gerbils, and rats. I fell in love with the personalities of my rats and considering how hard it was to find them here in the Saint Louis area, I decided to try breeding them myself.

I researched as much as possible, leaning heavily on the AFRMA’s website and Isamu Rats on Youtube to get as solid of an understanding before diving into the world of owning a rattery. But there is no way to learn that is better than jumping head first, and I have learned so much just from watching my rats grow and develop.

My hope is that everyone who adopts a rat from Pie Town Rattery gets a healthy, friendly, and adorable rat and that our products help other rats around the world lead happier lives.
