Artemis was a rescue from a feeder situation who was never intended to be a dame here at Pie Town Rattery. However, she came pregnant and three weeks after joining us, she secretly gave birth to six boys in the back of the girls’ enclosure.

When I rescued Artemis from a feeder situation, I did not intend on her being a breeder. However, three weeks after she came home, she discreetly gave birth to her six boys. I found them a week later during my weekly deep clean of the enclosure. She had hid them well! There is no way to know who their dad is at this point, but they all appear to have great genes. They are big boys, and are thriving.
Sneak Peak
Artemis’s boys are about 4 weeks old as of April 14th. They are doing so well, and they are the biggest babies I think we have ever had. They are curious, playful, and always eager to be held. They are going to make fantastic pets. Watch the video below to get a peak at all six of them.
